If I shot Canon APS-C Mirrorless I would probably have this lens ordered right now. Unfortunately for Canon, after 20 years of using and some questionable practices I ditched their mirrorless cameras for Sony and have all the Full Frame sigma lenses I could ever wish for. This lens looks great and its clear their APS-C camera sales were hurting so they needed to add some incentives with 3rd Party lenses but I wonder if its already too late. As a Canon fanboy in the past, I recommend Sony A6700 to people wanting a APS-C or even get a nice A6400. Far more options.

It did make me laugh! Still sound advice. With that criteria only I would probably choose either the Fuji 100vi or perhaps an older Panasonic MFT (small and cool looking, so ok maybe also a Olympus PenF ). Your point…Find one that you will enjoy (and use). Nice!

Some years ago I saw serious battles about this question. And eventually took part in it. Skin tones, true colours, photo volume (sorry if it’s wrong English). Now I think it was so waste of time 😂😂 Your approach is really wise👍

Yes great advice! basically pick one you like so you would go out and take photo/video with it! not one that has the best specs or anything if it doesn't inspires you

I heard viltrox got basically strong-armed by Canon to stop producing rf mount lenses. What do you think are the chances that Canon will let viltrox back into the game? Would be fantastic to see the 1.2 pro primes on the rf-s mount. And it's highly unlikely Canon are going to do it themselves, let's be perfectly honest 😂😂😂

definitely the best advice :) it's easy to get lost in specs & stuff, but it's very difficult to find a 'bad' camera built in the last 5-10 years. they'll all take good pictures. so just buy the one that feels and looks cool to you, and you'll want to use it more!

Can we get a video of sigma 70-200 vs lumix pro 70-200 ?

hey! Do you notice a low back background noise (noisy preamp) when you plug in your mic into the 3.5 socket? It sounds more like cars on a highway from a distance. Even if just the cable is plugged into the socket (without the mic), i can hear this noise. Do you have the same problem?

There is no 1/4 on the side of the grip ? I have zhiyun m3 ( main problem is thatthere was not enough space so the view finder was touching the top. despite it was a good gimbal with the lights and its portable . So I was considering to buy this one so i can finally back using at 80% the gimbal . Whereas with m3 i had to not go too low or high otherwise it was touching. and ofc no possibility to use the 360 feature (S5). but the 1/4 hole on the side was so helpfull to put my handle from my cage , so i have way more stabilisation with two hands handle and its cheaper option , way better to make smooth shots etc.

is this lens manual focus? how do you achieve auto focus your face in the video?

Well it's official. I am absolutely sick of seeing and hearing these videos talking about the hc-x2 and the hc-x20. Yes, I get it, they're similar. But I don't WANT to hear about the hc-x20. I am also fed-up to my ear-balls with seeing and hearing people just talking about the camera. For all of the over-hyped yammering, there are so few videos that actually demonstrates or shows how good this camera really is. Is it all just talk? Or, is there truth behind the claims? I want to SEE how it works and performs under a variety of different filming conditions. I don't just want to hear about it. Your video is just Okay, and you did touch lightly on the capabilities of the machine you used, but only just. I for one would like to see what it really can do and what makes it so special, what makes it shine. I am sick of hearing about it. I want to see it with my own eyes... no explanation, no yammering on... just clean, unedited video footage. Let the camera speak for itself.
